inter-library loan

We are happy to locate items we do not own and borrow them for you through another library.  This service may take a few weeks and is not for newly published items.

Photocopies
Self-serve machines are available at each branch and copies are 15 cents per page.

Fax
Our staff members are pleased to send your FAX.  Price depends on the number of sheets and the distance sent.

Genealogy resources and Local History
Items are available to assist in local genealogical and historical research. We are also pleased to offer Ancestry.ca on the public computers available in our branches.

Internet
Our library is a Community Access Program (CAP) centre which is funded in part by Industry Canada. Free Internet access & email is available at each branch. Time is limited to 30 minute sessions.  A small charge for printing applies.  All three of our branches also have wireless Internet available.

Programming
Programs for the community are scheduled as staff, volunteers and finances permit. Children’s summer reading programs occur through a Student Career Placement grant provided by the Federal government.  Programs will be advertised in local newspapers , in the library branches and on our website (www.MyPublicLibrary.ca) as they are scheduled.
