Roles of the Library

	Popular Materials Library: The library features current, high-demand, high-interest materials in a variety of formats for persons of all ages.
	Life-Long Learning Centre: The library is committed to providing services and materials, life-long learning, the attainment of personal goals and self-directed education for all ages possible.
	Door To Reading: The library encourages children and young adults to develop skills and interest in reading and self-determined learning.
	Reference/Public Access Library: The library provides equitable access to timely, accurate and useful information for community residents through technology and print materials.

Goals of the Library

	To provide collections and library services to meet the diverse needs of the community within the parameters of our resources.
	To participate in community, provincial and national initiatives, partnerships and networks where appropriate.
	To enhance life-long learning.
	To support literacy initiatives.
	To provide volunteers with opportunities for personal development.
	To provide well maintained accessible facilities.
