Lakefield Library Book Sale

Location: Lakefield Library Centennial Room

Ennismore Library Book Sale
Date: Saturday, May 23
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Location: Ennismore Library Optimist Hall 

Remember each library location has a Book Sale shelf available all year. Selection is constantly changing, and purchases are by donation. Simply bring your book sale item(s) to the circulation desk and hand in the donation. You get a new book and are supporting children's programs and enhanced services in the library.

The library will accept gifts of books, other materials or money for the purchase of specific items, with the understanding that they will be added to the collection only if appropriate, needed and contribute to a balanced collection. 

The same criteria of selection and withdrawing that are applied to purchased materials are also applied to gift donations. 

Gifts of materials will be accepted only on the understanding that the library retains the unconditional ownership of the gift. 

Donated materials not added to the collection may be discarded or sold at the discretion of the supervising Branch Librarian.

Storage capabilities vary at each library. We ask that you contact the specific library if you are looking to donate items. We only accept donations at certain times of the year.

• Textbooks
• Encyclopaedias
• Dirty, mouldy or smelly books
• Magazines
• VHS tapes
• Music cassettes
