Ontario Parks Pass

Selwyn Public Library is taking part in the Ontario Parks Pass program!

Each of our three locations have Day-Use Vehicle Permits (Parks Pass) for Ontario Parks

Reservations are required to use the Park Pass

Simply having the Park Pass does not guarantee day-use of the park. You must register your day-use. Examples of "day-use" activities include: hiking, biking, having a picnic, bird watching, swimming, boating, or fishing. Strictly driving through an Ontario Park is not "day-use".

  1. Get your park pass from the library.
  2. Watch this video on how to register your day-use.
  3. Register your day-use with Ontario Parks. (Remember when you get to step #4, select "Seasonal Permit Holder")

Program Information

These permits will provide complimentary day-use access for one vehicle and its occupants at more than 100 provincial parks where fees are normally charged.

  • The Parks Pass has a one-week lending period.
  • An overdue Parks Pass will have a late fine of $1/day.
  • Patrons are welcome to place a hold on a Parks Pass via our online catalogue (Search for Parks Pass).
